Pipe Dreams

Visiting with Master Organist, Dennis Roberts.

Today was field trip day for my Music History and Music Appreciation students. We spent the morning exploring the magnificent pipe organ and grand piano of Susanville United Methodist church. Pianist and Organist Dennis Roberts was on hand to give everyone a thorough explanation on how both instruments operated. The church's pipe organ is more than 80 years old and was just updated with a new-to-Susanville console.
