Mozart v. Salieri

Just a little snarky, but it nearly caused me to snort. The so-called infamous relationship between the two composers is connected to one of four short plays written by Alexander Pushkin in 1830, and was based on one of many rumors connected to the early-in-life death of Mozart. Other than the rumors, there is no documented evidence that would suggest that Pushkin's version of events is accurate. On a positive note, the play "Mozart and Salieri" was the only play authored by Pushkin that was produced during his lifetime.
